The newest technology in contact lens design are multifocal contacts lenses. Unlike monovision, which corrects ones eye for distance and one eye for near, multifocal contact lenses allows distance, intermediate, and near vision clarity for both eyes.

Dr. Melamed is a specialist in various brands of contact lens designs including both soft and rigid contact lenses. Our friendly staff will help first time wearers overcome their anxiety of putting contact lenses in their eyes which usually resolves within one week. Our contact lens fits include a 2 month period where all follow-ups are included to make any minor adjustments to fit and vision, (usually the whole process takes between 2-4 visits).
